Your First Counselling Session

Whether you are a child, teenager, adult or a family coming for your first counselling session may feel daunting and a bit scary.  My responsibility to you is to explain how we will work together to start to develop a confidential, safe, supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship. The aim of this is to enable you to have the opportunity to explore your life and help you make sense of your feelings and experiences.

Sessions are 50 minutes long, held regularly at a mutually convenient time.

Availability

I can be flexible but I am usually available weekdays and some evenings.

Location

I work from home where I have a dedicated counselling room, which provides a relaxed, safe and confidential setting.  The room is on the ground floor and is easily accessible.

My counselling practice is based in the village of Elstead which is within easy reach of many areas of Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex.  I am a five minute drive from the A3 and twenty minutes from the M25.  Guildford, Aldershot, Farnham and Godalming are all within a ten to fifteen-minute drive. There is convenient, free parking.

The closest railway stations are Farnham, Godalming and Milford, both a ten-minute drive away. There is a local taxi service that runs from Elstead.

I can also offer home visits.

Fees

My fee is £45 per session. This can be paid at the end of each session by cash, cheque or electronic transfer.
